  1. That’s just VML, isn’t it? Unless I’m missing something. It’s been around for a decade, I’d guess… part of XML, I think.

  2. I’ve seen dynamic 360 images (usually on real estate blogs or more recently Google Street View) but never dynamic 360 video (at least not that I can remember).

I’m not sure what you are referring to by VML – Vector Markup Language? Not sure how that applies here.

My guess is that you are missing something, so follow the instructions at the beginning of the video, i.e. “Click and drag in all directions”.

  3. I’m tempted to edit my first comment, I wasn’t missing anything, except maybe my 2nd cup of morning coffee. I think I was getting my abbreviations mixed up. I started out thinking of QVR (or is it QTVR?), and somehow muddled it up. (My license plate is VMR, maybe that had something to do with it.)

I believe its QVR used for dynamic 360 images. I don’t see a big jump from stills to video, just make data available based on elapsed time. And capturing the video is identical to capturing a still image, you basically just do it a whole lot of times kinda quickly.

  4. If it’s that easy, why have I never seen one before? And if you have, point me to it. I’m not aware of any other video like this one.
